Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Nay, I am sure it said it was called Blackthorn. It thought I was an Orc, but it listened to my tale and vowed to help me....' Béortnoth shook his head. 'Nay, that cannot be right. My injury...it must be worse than I thought. So addled am I that I have forgotten my people. 'Will you enter the village and search for other survivors? I am Thane now, for I am sure I saw my father die -- indeed, by the hand of an uruk, I am certain -- but there is nothing left of Thornhope.' Background You found Thane Béortnoth, the last known survivor of the Orcs' assault on Thornhope, wandering half mad with injury and grief. Objective 1 Search for survivors in Thornhope (0/10) Thornhope lies just down the road from Béortnoth's camp. Thane Béortnoth has asked you to search Thornhope for other survivors. Objective 2 Talk to Béortnoth outside of Thornhope Thane Béortnoth is encamped outside of Thornhope. You should return to Béortnoth with news of your findings. Thane Béortnoth: 'I am not alone then? That is well. We will drive forth the Orcs and rebuild Thornhope.'
